Overview

City Lofts Group is an award-winning development company specialising in transforming old buildings as well as new build property in the UK. City Loft wanted to bring together the project management team for their “Half Tide Dock” development in Liverpool.

The Solution

Inconnection proposed an outdoor team bonding activity which was both good fun and an effective way to form relationships between members of the project team outside the office environment.

Inconnection designed a team bonding day just outside Liverpool. 14 guests split into two teams for the morning activities. While one group went on a quad bike safari, the other group was marked on its 4 x 4 driving skills.

After a hot and well-deserved lunch the teams then went and tested their marksmanship skills with archery, rifle shooting and mini paint ball shooting.

Delegates were scored on both team and individual driving and shooting performances, giving a competitive edge to the activities. Later in the afternoon, guests checked into their boutique hotel in central Liverpool, 62 ‘Castle Street’, before dining in ‘The Room’, the new and trendy restaurant next to the group’s hotel.

The Results

The scheme was an extremely effective way of introducing all team members in a fun and sociable environment, really helping to lay the foundations for a great team effort and bonding for the project which lay ahead.
