CitiFinancial Golf Day

CitiFinancial corporate golf day

Gillian Hall, Head of Broker Sales, CitiGroup:

"...I am already planning other events with Inconnection for the rest of this year."

Overview

CitiFinancial is a part of Citigroup, one of the world's largest financial services providers.  Citibank is one of the world's largest banks that was established in New York way back in 1812. CitiFinancial is part of the same strong family group.

CitiGroup wanted a relaxed and very personal golf day for some of their valued customers and staff to help build and maintain relationships.

The Solution

Inconnection created a programme for 16 golfers (some experienced and some novice) in a central location for their North/North-West customers.  The prestigious Mere Golf and Country Club was chosen as the ideal location.

The event commenced with a stunning brunch overlooking the putting green, which then moved onto half an hour’s driving practice onto a floating lake. Some of the ladies took the spa and pampering option, while the gents continued in their 4-balls.

Golfing accounts were exchanged at the bar before a private dinner in The Atrium was served. All guests had the added touch of departing with personalised framed photographs of themselves teeing off and their 4 ball.

The Results

CitiFinancial successfully rewarded their valued customers and maintained customer loyalty, effectively creating stronger business relationships.

From the success of their last golf day, CitiFinance are looking at making this an annual event.

The Feedback

“The event was highly enjoyable and well worth attending”

“My clients have attended many such events with other Lenders over the years, however, without exception everyone agreed that this was a superb day – one of the best!  The whole event was handled professionally and was sympathetic to the “relaxed” atmosphere I wanted to create.
The setting was stunning.  The weather (which I am sure Inconnection ordered specially) was amazing, and the golf – so I am told – was great.
I am already planning other events with Inconnection for the rest of this year.”
