Overview

ATS Euromaster is the UK’s leading tyre distributor servicing all types of vehicles from cars, vans and 4x4’s to forklifts, trucks and combines.  The company currently has more than 490 centres across the UK, employs 3500 people nationwide and operates over 1000 service vehicles.

ATS Euromaster wanted to reward and incentivise employees for their long service with the company. They already have a gift scheme in process, but wanted to add something more memorable.

The Solution

Inconnection was asked to manage ATS Euromaster’s annual event – the long service awards. 

The Long Service recognition event is held at a prestigious hotel in a central location – vital as attendees and their partners gather from all across the UK for this occasion.  Employees with 25 and 40 years’ service with ATS Euromaster are recognised for their contribution and loyalty to the company.   

The evening begins with a champagne reception.  Official photographs are taken, which are then framed and presented in time for the attendees to take home as a memento of the occasion. An awards ceremony then commences which involves staff being presented an award for their achievements and hard work with the company, followed by a three-course dinner.  This year, a quiz was held between each course which was a great way for each table to club together as a team, rounds included pictures, film and advert clips and even sound tracks! The successful awards ceremony, dinner and quiz was followed by a disco.

The Results

The awards ceremony has become a highlight in the company’s calendar, and is eagerly anticipated by award winners.

The Feedback

Credit must be given to Inconnection for their organisation of the event.  This year myself and my team have had minimal involvement, once the brief was set.  The only significant contribution we made was authorising costs and written material for the event.  Throughout Inconnection prompted when information was required.  Any questions raised or alterations requested by ourselves were efficiently dealt with and promptly resolved.
